Extension philosophy
When extending Intercessor:
- Prefer documented WordPress hooks and Intercessor filters.
- Use existing query classes for database operations.
- Reuse the submission pipeline for new submission transports.
- Respect Intercessor capabilities before exposing sensitive data.
- Keep private requests private at every presentation layer.
The plugin's REST API and report-view registry are examples of extension points built into the architecture.
