Common Issues

Prayer Wall is empty

Check that:

1. requests have been submitted;
2. requests have the Approved status;
3. the Prayer Wall block is configured to query approved; and
4. private requests are not being expected to appear publicly.

Requests remain pending

Check the Auto-Approve Requests setting and the moderation workflow. A profanity match can also force a request into manual review.

Requester emails are not received

Check Intercessor notification settings, the configured admin/from address, WordPress mail delivery, and your hosting mail configuration.

reCAPTCHA prevents submissions

Verify that the site key and secret key belong to the configured reCAPTCHA version and that the v3 threshold is appropriate.

Do not edit plugin files

If a visual or functional change is required, use settings, CSS overrides, WordPress hooks, or a separate extension rather than modifying plugin files directly.
